The One Thing You Must DO to Be Successful

Featured image full width Audio post

Here’s an interesting statistic...

... when people are prescribed a medication by their doctor:

  • one-third of them won’t even get the medicine from the pharmacy.
  • one-third of them will get the medication, but won’t take it as prescribed.
They will miss doses, quit taking it before time, or not take it at all.
  • only one-third of them will actually take the medicine as prescribed and get the full benefit.

What’s even more interesting...

... is that more than 90% of the people, when prescribed a medication for their pet or child, will give the medicine to their pet or child exactly as prescribed.

What about you?

After sharing our insights, experiences and teachings with almost 200,000 students for over 30 years, we noticed a very similar statistic...

We would have hundreds or even thousands of participants in a training (live or online).

Every single one of these participants have joined the training (and often paid hundreds or thousands of euros to participate), because they had a problem, a challenge, an issue... an “illness” if you will...

They would sit through the training... listening, participating, writing down insights, suggestions, tools and techniques...

And they will go home with an implementation plan...
A “prescription” - if you will...

They recognized their problem, they experienced the pain and suffering, they trusted us enough that the we have the solution (a.k.a. “medicine”) to their problem or challenge.

Then they go home... and...

  • About one-third of them would put their workbooks in a drawer and go back to their old life, without ever taking any action.
  • Another one-third would look at their implementation plan, but would either take only some of the actions, or quit before the end of the process.
  • Only about one-third of all those who invested their time, energy and money in the training would follow the implementation plan exactly as “prescribed”, and get their problem solved.

This sounds crazy, isn’t it?

We’ve been asking ourselves “why do most people fail to implement?” and “what can WE do to help them implement?” for over 30 years.

In the article Why You Are Not As Successful As You Could Be we shared the top psychological “reasons” (a.k.a. “excuses”) most people use to sabotage their success by not “taking their medicines... exactly as prescribed”.

Which part of the statistic you want to be?

Although it’s important to become aware of what stops you from achieving success and happiness... it’s many times more important to actually DO something about it.

We have developed a new live, online training called, “The Three Things You Must DO to Make Life Great Again”... and the reason why we gave it such a long name - is because this is exactly what we want to share:

The Three Things You Must DO to Make Life Great Again.

This is a one-time training that we will deliver over Zoom in December.
The number of places is limited to 100, as this is the maximum we can have on the Zoom call.

The good news...

  • We still have a few places available for this training.
  • If you can’t make the live training, we will give you the recording.
  • And the best news is... it’s totally FREE - if you apply today.

The “bad” news...

We only admit people that have the commitment and inner motivation to take the “medicine” exactly as prescribed, and actually do the 3 things we teach...
(Those 3 things are simple to do, they don’t take a lot of time and energy, and they cost nothing).

What do you need to do

In order to join The Three Things You Must DO to Make Life Great Again for FREE, let us know in the comments box below... what is the ONE thing you know YOU must DO to make YOUR life great again.

Make it a specific, concrete, doable ACTION.

Answers like “focus”, “commitment”, “love myself”, “accept myself”, “drop my excuses”, “just do it”,  “give my 100%”, etc... are NOT specific, concrete, doable ACTIONS...

After you submit your answer in the comments, we would send you an email with further information and instructions.

We look forward to meet you in the training.

And until then...

Live fully, stay awesome…

  • Get prepaired to restart “ICT consultancy” when life restarts after Corona, even being 70 years old then

    • Vered Neta says:

      Thanks for your input Alex.

However, what ACTION would you take in order to be prepared. Your answer is a generic one that does not get you into action.

Curious to know what would be your first step?

  • Every day at least half an hour for mindfulness and emptying my head so I can better prioritize.

    • Vered Neta says:

Great action to take Jorine in order to be focused

    • Vered Neta says:

That’s a great action to take Bastian.

Keep us posted how it goes

  • I need to do my bookkeeping and taxes for 2019-2020 to get the financial overview I need to grow my company further

  • Marleen Dresscher says:

It took a lot of thinking and feeling, but here it is: to have a great life, I need to have the freedom to work from wherever I choose to so I can mix work and travel. To get there, I have to overcome the fear of starting all over after bankruptcy as well as the fear of not knowing where to start. My first action will (need to) be to create a program and ask people in my surroundings to participate to generate valuable feedback. To do so, I need to let go of the fear of being seen.

  • That my company will at least be doing as well next year as it has been this year, and preferably even better.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Thanks Marcel for your input.

HOWEVER, what is the ONE thing YOU need to DO for this to happen

  • Maaike de Feyter says:

I will have to take care of my sleep. Define a simple to execute evening routine and stick to it. Getting 7 hours of sleep and minimize my social media exposure especially before going to sleep. This will be a good start I trust.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for your honest answer Iris.

However, what step would you take that would allow you to step over your fears? What ACTION would you take that would show you that your are stepping over your fears?

  • One action that I really need to take is at least 10 minutes quiet/silent time a day. To connect to myself, become more creative and relaxed. Most days are filled by doing things.

  • I need to make a plan (marketing strategy) that works for me and is doable in the long term. Make it a routine!

    • Vered Neta says:

      Thanks for your contribution Anne.
So many of us tend to postpone looking after our financial issues, especially at times like this.

Curious to know what would be for you having a GREAT life mean

  • I must move my body 150 minutes a week at a minimum to feel energized.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Thanks Victoria for your input.

Curious to know how you do it and what would having a GREAT life means for you.

  • Doot Ruska says:

You know Vered, it runs very deep and it is very complex. Not wanted and not given the protection and social skills. In addition to a form of autism.
Understanding the theory, but practically implementing how? Not a good self-image. not knowing and neither are the right people.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Hi Doot,

      Thanks for your input.
We had to translate your comment into English as this is an International community and many of our members do not read (or understand Dutch).
In the future, please use Google translate if you are not sure about your English.

In order to join the one-time workshop please let us know what is the ONE thing you CAN DO to be more successful.
Not yoru stories and excuses, but what is it that you CAN DO?

  • Nabila Tessoudali says:

Think to be secular in your life is to have faith in yourself. Have clear goals and then be steadfast to achieve your goals. Like a pilot makes flying hour.
I always start something new, but never make it successful. no self-confidence and believe in myself that I can do it. in the end I give up.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Nabila for your honest comment.

However, you keep staying in generality and using phrases that keep it obscure.
What is the ONE thing you need to DO that would make a difference in your life?
      Make it SPECIFIC

      • This week I started with a PMA therapie (Progressive Mental Alignment) to search for the so called ‘bad clusters’ in my brain that makes me do the wrong things, or even nothing, to reach my goals. I was fighting myself for 4 years, just to start my business and I am sick of it.

  • Jantina van der Waal says:

Great again? My life is great. Like a walk in the mountains, with peaks and valleys, but overall a great walk.

But the last one and a half year I have been a bit sloppy in the health department, and I want to take up the good habits again.
Starting with a cold shower, eating only healthy food (skipping sugar and coffee).

So today is my first day that I renewed these old habits, and today feels great, but I know that mountains have valleys and that I will go through them again.
My action is: taking the cold shower in the morning, eating only healthy food. I want some help to keep on the path in the darker stretches of the way. .

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for your valuable input Jantina. It’s great to hear that your life is great.

However, here is a small tip… when you keep saying “my life is great” you don’t leave for yourself a space to make it better.
Any time you will have those “valleys” your mind will convince you “but my life is great” which would not allow you to stick with the healthy lifestyle you wish for.
It’s kind of an excuse that your mind will be using that would stop you from moving forward.

Life doesn’t have to be BAD to want to wish for GREAT!

  • Sonia van Nispen says:

I spend a lot of time doing preparatory work, sort of going around what is needed to bring me success.
So: I want to spend at least one hour each day actually reaching out to people (phone, zoom calls, social media not just posting but actual interacting) to create the opportunity to tell people about the amazing products I have.
Or: reach at least three people (as above: in 1:1 interaction).

I also want to keep up my healthy cooking (which I tend to do less of when I spend more hours working), and to make sure I get enough exercise i.e. sports three times a week, 6500 steps daily, get up and move every hour I spend sitting.

    • Vered Neta says:

Fantastic steps to take Sonia. Thanks for sharing it with us.

What would you NEED to take those actions?

  • Free my mind to get a clear vision how to become better at my ‘sales chair’. Instead of giving it away for free.
Name the price, name the intention to cooperate and work together, suggest to send a financial price after a talk. Tell them clearly which results I see when we work together.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Yolanda for your great contribution to this post.

Curious to know HOW would you “free your mind”?
What ACTION would you take to do that?

  • Yvette Vermeulen says:

What I have to do is do the assignments from Salesboss.

I do this on 3 fixed days Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.

In addition, I want a healthy life that I do by cooking every day and not getting any foods that contain sugar. Get on the scale daily and train 4x on fixed days.

I also want to write inspirational blog. I write about any topic. The first thing that comes to mind as soon as I get up.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Hi Yvette,
Thanks for your honest and valuable input.

We had to translate your comment into English as this is an International community and many of our members do not read (or understand Dutch).
In the future, please use Google translate if you are not sure about your English.

  • What I need to DO is consistently implement the actions I set for myself.
To this end I will schedule at least implementation hour a day.

I specifically need to implement right now is finishing the sales funnel and automation for my subscription service.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for your valuable input Timon.
It’s a great action to take.

Curious to hear what would be for you a GREAT life?

    • Vered Neta says:

      Hi Jet,
We had to translate your comment into English as this is an International community and many of our members do not read (or understand Dutch).

In the future, please use Google translate if you are not sure about your English.

However, your answer is EXACTLY what we explained that would NOT move you forward.

There is no commitment here to any ACTION that would create a difference in your life.

Saying “Just do it” is not an ACTION.

What ACTION would you take to take you to the next level

  • I must live more from a place of trust. Therefore I should not doubt this much. I’ll be more decisive. This week I’m going to decide which program to buy for digitizing my business.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for sharing this with us Tatiana.

      Let’s make it more SPECIFIC.
What is the ONE thing you need to DO to make that decision

  • Alma Ooster says:

Ok, my doable action is to minimize my paid job and be unstoppable in giving live and online paid trainings in such a succefull way that I can quit my job.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Alma for your valuable input.

Curious to know what ACTION would you take to minimise your paid job?

  • My administrative organization is a mess and for years and years I have piles and piles of paper everywhere and I do NOT GET organized.
It influences badly my life , my being, my temper, I get annoyed and for once I need this done to LIVE AGAIN FULLY and enjoy and go further in life and….

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Vincent for your honest comment and very specific.

However, what is the FIRST step you will take in order to tackle this, What ACTION would you do?

  • For now I need to finish my new e-mail funnel (will be ready this thursday). So i can spent my time on making small video’s to make myself more visable on social media.

  • Carine Tortelboom says:

Buying a house in Spain and move over there.

I am in Spain now to see if I can find something.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for your inspiring comment Carine.

Curious to hear what would be your vision of having a GREAT life again?

  • Carine de Winter says:

I have been implementing your advises through several years. my life has changed for the best!!
Thank you so much, I couldn’t have reached this far without your help.

    • Vered Neta says:

      That’s great to hear Carine.
However, for this workshop please give us your comment of what is the ONE thing you must DO to make your life GREAT

  • Thank you so much, again, for everything that I have learned from you in the past years (‘stay in line’, ‘you need a system’, ‘focus’) and especially in this year.

I DO what is necessary and what lifts me up to the next level in fulfilling my potential, it’s an ongoing process en it DOES work.
    I’m thankful every day.

Warm greetings, Yvonne van der Laan

    • Vered Neta says:

Thank you Yvonne for your kind words. Happy to hear you’re benefiting from our teachings.

However, your answer is EXACTLY what we explained that would NOT move you forward. There is no commitment here to any ACTION that would create a difference in your life.
Saying “I DO what is necessary and what lifts me up to the next level in fulfilling my potential” is not an ACTION.

What ACTION would you take to take you to the next level?

  • Joan de Windt says:

This week I will write texts for my website.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Great steps to take Joan.

Curious to hear what is the end result you wish to see from this and how would that make your life GREAT again?

  • Frederike Meijer says:

This week I want to call ten people in my network to get in touch and ask for information that can help me on my next assignment.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Hi Fredrike,
We had to translate your comment into English as this is an International community and many of our members do not read (or understand Dutch).
In the future, please use Google translate if you are not sure about your English.

In any case GREAT steps to take in moving your life in making it GREAT. Thank you for this valuable input

  • Auk Oosterhof says:

    Dear Nisandeh and Vered,

To make my life great right now is to to edit and publish one short movie with school material a week.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks so much for your valuable input Auk.

Curious to hear what would be for you having your life GREAT again?

  • The one thing I need to do is start organising events. People tell me my visibility is good, more than average. But I’m not getting antything out of it, because there are no events.

So I started an event today (a challenge) and I will start doing events Q1 2021.

  • Ylonga Arets says:

    Good Morning;
I want to complete my website, and write every day
Stop listening to my own excuses to do so!

    • Vered Neta says:

      Thanks Ylonga for your input

Just a small tip. Stop using “I want to…” instead say “I… ACTION” that way your mind will be more inclined to trust you’re going to DO it

  • Hanneke Vink says:

    Good morning Vered and Nisandeh,
thank you for your beautiful invitation.
What I have to do is to go to bed before midnight, in order to have enough rest and energy, physically, emotionally. It will strengthen my resilience if I sleep at least 7 hours.
Meditating every day 20 minutes to strengthen my attunement and awareness with my soul energy. In order to enlarge my ability to be present in the here and now and see the chances life offers me.
Writing everyday about one mistake, fault I made to be with the emotions in it and to be grateful for what I ‘ve learned from it.

Thank you for your attention, clarifying and precision.
    Hanneke

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Hanneke for your fantastic contribution

Curious to hear what is your description of YOUR GREAT Life?

  • I finally want to take my mission as an artist seriously (instead of using up all my time to others, which exhausts me).

The many works of art that still want to be finished (and are waiting patiently…), bring new work to the art shop, finally publish my story of my art expressions / experiences in Ireland in a book form (part 1).
I hope to go to Ireland again next year for part 2 …

Furthermore, I want to claim the remaining budget that my ex-employer still has (after dismissal in education of 24 years) and use it for the above goals.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Hi Petra,
We had to translate your comment into English as this is an International community and many of our members do not read (or understand Dutch).
In the future, please use Google translate if you are not sure about your English.

Curious to know what is the ONE thing you need to do make your life great again from the list you wrote.

  • Tone Nilsen says:

Oh, there are so many things I need to do to make my life great again. The main thing is get a job, so specifically I need to write and send job applications.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Tone for sharing your actions with us.

  • Thank you, Vered and Nisandeh – you have me there. So – the one thing that I know I have to do is – every day take a step towards my goal(s): specifically that is – write for at least 15 min every day, read expert literature in my field every day, do something to organize my apartment every day (e.g. take one thing I don’t need anymore out and give it away)

    • Vered Neta says:

      Brilliant steps to take Cora.

Looking forward to having you with us

  • Francien Hollander says:

    Meditate every day.

    • Vered Neta says:

That’s a powerful action to take Francien.

My question to you is what do you want to achieve by this?

  • Catharine Mederks says:

post a meaningful message on my facebook

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for your valuable input Catharine.

That’s a great step to take, but ask yourself what is your purpose in taking that step?

  • Thank you for the challenge Vered and Nisandeh: I need to take myself more serious, stay true to myself and make the commitment to myself to achieve my life purpose.
This is connecting people / communities to enhance inclusion in organisations through self transformation.

At the inner level I have made good progress over the years in integrating (spiritual) knowledge, yoga and meditation in my daily life; now I commit myself to bring my contribution more into the outside world through my business and life style by BEING THE AUTHENTIC ME.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Sheela for your honest contribution.

However, your answer is EXACTLY what we explained that would NOT move you forward. There is no commitment here to any ACTION that would create a difference in your life.
Saying “being your authentic you” is not an ACTION.

What ACTION would you take to bring, as you say, your contribution through your business? What would you DO?

  • Follow my life path on my conditions, my believes, my values. Instead of commit to others, that have different standards, lower expectations.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Hi Jur,
Please let us know what ACTION would you take. As we wrote, it needs to be something SPECIFIC!
When you stay in generality and abstract ideas, like, “follow my path” or “lower expectations” you are not willing to commit yourself to a SPECIFIC action that could help you change your situation.

Think what could be ONE ACTION that you could take that would show you that you are living your life according to your beliefs and values?

    • Vered Neta says:

That’s a great habit Johanna, which many entrepreneurs could use.

Curious to know, is it a potential client you know of or is it a “cold call”?

  • Gerdy Heek says:

    Every single day I write.
It may be a sentence, but I write.
    Every day.
