MINDFULNESS - THE FOUNDATION

Welcome to the Introduction to Mindfulness course.

Learning to meditate is one of the most powerful and impactful things you can do for your personal growth, mental health and well-being.

I'm glad that you signed up, and I'm excited to get started.

Before we jump into the meditation practices, I want to make sure that you get the most out of this course.

So... in this lesson I'll describe the five keys to success and answer some of the most frequent questions students have when it comes to meditation... and, of course, you will practice your first mindfulness meditation.

Today’s lesson will take 15 minutes. Make sure you will not be disturbed, and...

Please take a moment and let me know, in a comment below,
what was your experience during the practice, and if you have any question.

I love to hear from you, and I respond to every comment...

  • Iris Meijr says:

Thank you Vered, I’ve listened twice.

Even though I’ve meditated a lot, I stoped without any clear reason.

Today I started again with you and became aware of my body tension and my thoughts wandered off regularly. The second time I could stay more centered.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Great to read this Iris.

With time you’ll notice that it becomes easier to stay centred.

  • Good morning Vered,
to be honest…when I saw your offer I thought….let’s give it a last try. Meditation and mindfulness are not my cup of tea uphill now. Cann’t find the rest.

First insight: Make it fun, see it as a playground and do not take it to serious.

It’s the first time the explanation starts from the start (for me).
So thank you Vered for taking me with you to the basement of the meditation house.

    ……bring it on….

    • Vered Neta says:

      That’s great to hear Maria!

That’s exactly the reason I created this course.

After so many years of hearing from people that meditation and mindfulness is not their “cup of tea” or that their mind is too much for it, I decided that I should give them the taste of it but in a way that would relax them & make it fun for them.

Happy to hear it worked for you… Carry on and keep us posted

      Love & light, Vered

  • Hanny Schouten says:

I did not know what to expect. But normally I start my day with meditation.
I’m meditating for a long time and this was a starter, not what I expected. So let’s go up to the next one and see what it will bring.

    Thank you Vered.

    • Vered Neta says:

      Thank you for your input.
      Great to hear that Hanny

  • Marjolein Etten says:

At this moment of life I am feeling really overwhelmed to the point I can’t get anything done at the worst days. This really helped to experience some calmness again. Felt great.

  • Beata Marton says:

Great start of the day, i’m looking forward to the next session.
    Thank you Vered!

    • Vered Neta says:

      Great to hear this Beata.

Curious to know what was your main insight from it

  • Milka Martijn says:

I’m so glad I took this course. And it is not that I didn’t meditate before, but now I really get to know the idea behind it, how to do it properly and mindful.
In this first lesson I already learned a lot. And I felt so relaxed.

    Thank you Vered.

    • Vered Neta says:

      That’s AWESOME to hear Milka.

Keep us posted on how it goes for you and notice the changes that are taking place

  • Janna van schijndel says:

Thank you Vered, it is clear and helpful, this foundation. Learning and being abled to rest in the present moment.
I have a practical question: can I save this in my Itunes library?
    Janna

    • Vered Neta says:

      Great to hear, Janna…
At the moment, we don’t have a download audio option.
We’ll let you know if it would change in the future.

    • Vered Neta says:

Please in the future respond in English. You can always use Google translate when not sure
