How to Achieve Your Goals Faster and Easier

Research shows that having clarity about your goals is essential to having the motivation to achieve those goals

If you’re not clear on what you’re doing, it’s hard to be motivated.

Unfortunately, not having clarity is why so many people settle for less than their dreams, simply because they have no clue how they're going to make their dreams come true.

So... we ask you today to think for yourself...
How could you achieve YOUR goals easier and faster?

Here's Our Suggestion:

Get clarity on one step at a time.

When you want to achieve big things, your path will be unclear.

Yet, in order to get motivated to achieve your big dreams, you need clarity.

But this does not mean you have it all figured out.
It means you just need to be clear on the next step or two.

Let's say you’re planning to start a business as a yoga teacher.
You don't need to know from the beginning how to get your clients.
You just need to figure out who would be your ideal client.

Let's say that you figured out that the best clients for your new business would be pregnant women.

Now that you know who your ideal client is, it's time to figure out your next step - where to find these ideal clients.

Simply ask the question in online groups or to a few pregnant women you meet offline, and you'll soon be figuring this one too.

Then you can move on to the next step, and ask even better, more specific and focused questions...

At step 3 you will be able to ask questions and get answers that you wouldn't have access to at the beginning...

Now It's Your Turn

Let us know in the comment box below, how could you achieve your goals easier and faster?

And you can win a personal life coaching session with Vered - to help you get clarity on any goal, issue or challenge in your life.

We can’t wait to read your comment and get inspired.

And until then...

Live fully, stay awesome…

  • First of all, I ask myself: Is this goal really right for me? Am I sufficiently enthusiastic about it and am I truly intrinsically motivated for this goal?
Then apply even more focus than I already do, by not setting too many goals at once.
Not letting myself get distracted and working in time blocks of 30 minutes max and then a very short break.
Finding a buddy to keep me ‘sharp’ and share results with
Keeping the balance in my life between work goals and other things.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Ben for this valuable input.

These are all fantastic steps to take

  • Japke Englebert says:

To get my goals faster will go better with discipline and less distraction. And also have clear what is important right now.

At this moment my own health is important so I need discipline to do qi gong practice every day.

I also decided to start with Qi gong study. I was doing acupuncture but it takes too much energie right now. So I decided to do a study which gives me energy first. That gives also knowledge for another goal.

Getting tools to give to people to help themselves in times I cannot practice shiatsu. ❤️ Japke

  • finding and connecting with people with the same values and beliefs AND the same (kind of) goals.

Also people who use the same way to determine and describe their goals. for example setting goals in the blueprint of the 7 human needs; for yourself as well as your clients.

  • I’ll start with what I want to create as an end result, make that very clear.

From there it is just working backwards and decide on the steps that will make me achieve the goal.

  • My way of working on my goals -step by step- is by dividing my week into timeblocks. I have a number of different goals, all of which are close to my heart and contribute to my main goal. However, I have prioritized them: the more important a goal is to me, the more blocks I give it. This way I can concentrate on that specific goal during such a block.
A condition is – as Vered states above – knowing what your goal is, being clear about it and being honest with yourself. My main goal is to be financially free, while I dedicate myself to the (spiritual) growth of my fellow man.
Another condition is to eliminate distractions. My cell phone no longer plays a major role in my day. I decide when I answer emails and texts.
Also included in my approach -since October last year- is collaboration. I join forces with three women in offering life-style routes. Plus: last Friday I formed a partnership with another female professional and together we are going to conquer the market.
    In short:
    – set a clear goal – honestly
    – eliminate distractions
    – give focus in blocks
    – work together

  • Hi Vered, for me it always starts with taking time to reflect /have some quiet time to think on what I really want and how I want my life to look like.
From that space of quietness I notice that answers come and my first step is made clear. From there I can start working on an action list and make sure I have an accountability partner. but first inner peace 🙂

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Sandra for this valuable input.

Creating inner peace is a crucial step in getting clarity about your goals. Would love to hear what are the steps that you take once you have that clarity?

  • This is the schedule that I have developed for me and my coaching clients over the years in 7 steps:

    1. I make it Specific, Measurable, Acceptable, Realistic and Time-bound (SMART):

    2. I communicate my goal clearly and coordinate it with others.

    Who am I telling?
What does this goal mean to me?
What does this goal mean for my partner?
What does this goal mean for my colleagues?

    3. I mention the positive results for myself and others.

What are the benefits of this goal?
What are the benefits of this goal for my partner?
What are the benefits of this goal for my colleagues?

    4. I make it part of a much larger purpose (mission and vision).

    5. I divide my goal into small steps.

I write down the first smallest step I am going to take for my goal.

    6. Is this goal a pleasure or a burden for me?

What obstacles do I encounter to work on my goal?
What do I need so that I have much less trouble with these obstacles?

    7. I translate it into the I form and present tense: I verb with purpose.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thank you so much Marcel for another great and valuable input.
Curious to know what are your goals today that you’re working towards them?

  • Frank Landsman says:

Self-love, arigato, looping end results feelings of reward, create successfull team around me with the same purpose for existence and read about successfull people.

  • A first step for me is to decide what will be my business. I give lessons now to children and adults in one-to-one sessions.

I feel the need to spread my knowledge on mathematics and its applications further.

This implies thinking of ‘selected topics’ in mathematics and presenting these as a series of lessons.

My aim is to give people and children more joy in mathematics besides the obligatory lessons in school. Such that they will not be blocked by ideas like “mathematics is not for me”.

After this step is made and consolidated, the next step will be to contact the pupils I had or I have now and their parents.

I will give them a free example to illustrate the idea of having fun with maths.

    • Hi Tineke, I think this is a great goal. I wish I had had a better guidance in understanding maths. Especially seeing the beauty and fun in it. Good luck!

  • Vincent Bakker says:

These are allready great steps ( I often overlook)

For me the fastest/easiest way to achieve my goals would be the right mentor/coach and/ or right peer group. Together with some more clarity;)

  • My ideal customer (in my business yoga practise for less stress & more fun @ work) is 40+ woman who’s nearly burn out, she’s high educated, skilled woman &need to hold many balls up, to manage. She need to learn yoga, relax, breath in Awareness, letgo & delegate some of her doing. Breath in+out.

I find her out of my own netwerk & by posting free tasters, creatief a challenge with my methode & a course online to relax body mind & create prevention to 40+ burn-out woman to get her life energy again.

  • Charlayne Kembel says:

As a sportsman I believe that you achieve your goals easier and faster if you really work on your goals. Step by step you keep putting the work in it to get more competent. And don’t lose sight of your goals in the meantime.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks for your valuable comment Charlayne.

Would love to hear what steps you’re taking these days towards your goals?

  • Eduard Bosch says:

Being financially free is one of my dreams.

I want to invest in real estate but the market is at its peak.

Recently found out that my mom is dying of lung cancer… a real shock.

But by looking at the ‘positive’ side, after her death I will renovate her apartment and rent it out, in this case I will still be able to have a special relationship with my mom and also fulfill one of my biggest dreams…

    • Vered Neta says:

Thank you for your honest and valuable input Eduard.

I’m so sorry to hear about your mother. However, having gone this with Nisandeh’s father I know how many beautiful moments this journey can give you in completing your relationship with your mother.
      Use this precious time wisely.

Sending you and your mother all our love and healing energies.

    • Tineke de Bunje says:

Hi Eduard. I do not know if you still can talk to your mother or if she is already too far away. In case you can, I think it is important as one of the fulfilling steps to make your dreams come true, to talk to her about your dreams and to take her with you. Wish you wisdom and strength.

  • Barry van den Berg says:

Knowing what excites you and makes you happy is probably one of the first questions I would ask myself then move onto what it is that can do that for me.

Then Vered’s suggestions above would be my next step.

Moving one or two steps at a time is easier to accommodate and makes it easier to do and puts less pressure on yourself.

Thus in turn motivates more and the pleasure of achieving each step is greater and builds great steppingstones.

Also gives you the chance to adjust your direction as you go forward with the new insights you have achieved.

    • Vered Neta says:

Thanks Barry for you important comment.

Your first step of finding what excites you and makes you happy is crucial in creating clarity.
Would love to hear what it is. the more specific you are the better yoru questions and actions would be.
